| We purchased this TV a couple of months ago for our bedroom and we've been very happy with the end result. The picture is great for the situation in which we're using it. Plasma screens have a shiny finish, as opposed to the matte finish of an LCD, so make sure you place it in an area where light doesn't bounce off of it directly. Also, we knew we'd be 8 to 10 feet back from the screen. This is an ideal viewing depth to blur out pixilation you'll notice if you're right in front of it. There's also the high contrast ratio on this model - 15,000:1, which greatly adds to the sharpness and brigthness of the images. Side-by-side comparison with higher-resolution plasmas with lower contrast ratios solidified our choice. Overall, a great set for the money! |
